I read these 3 over the last 2 years, and they were great the first time around, but I’ve decided to read them again this fall. Something in me resonates deeply with the passion of these authors and their desire to move forward in spite of difficulty or obstacles.

#1 – Andy Stanley’s “Irresistible” – I care deeply about the future of the church. I have always loved Andy’s perspective on ministry and how to help people experience God in an authentic way. I really appreciated his teaching series, “Who Needs God” and excited to re-engage this content

#2 – Jocko and Leif’s, “Extreme Ownership” – powerful insights and unique perspectives from the battle field. This stuff will challenge you to the core as a leader. Not only is it entertaining because of the eye opening combat stories, but it is also helpful because the leadership lessons in this book directly correlate to almost every level of leadership in life and ministry.

#3 – Kim Scott’s “Radical Candor” – Admittedly, I skimmed through this book the first time and didn’t take the time to digest the content, but I’m particularly fond of “Authenticity” and appreciate the opportunity to dig in at a deeper level and learn how to simultaneously care personally, and challenge directly.

I may actually do some zoom calls or coaching through the concepts found in these books, if you are interested let me know!
