Dear Dr King,
My 10 year old daughter and I spent some quality time talking about your dream today.

We talked about your famous speech at the Lincoln Memorial.
We talked briefly about American History and the civil rights movement. And, of course, we discussed our role in the dream.

I think you’d be proud of her perspective. She shares your dream. We share your dream.

If you were alive today, I think you’d be proud of how far America has come, but you’d still be dreaming. And you would be even more hopeful in this younger generation.

We certainly are not there yet. But so many are dreaming with you. We can see the Promised Land.

Thank you for your life, your sacrifice, and your passion.
Thank you for dreaming.
Thank you for a better America.
