The book of Revelation describes Jesus as the “ruler of the Kings of the world”
This means He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. He rules over every aspect of society:
He is Lord over theThe Whitehouse, Congress, The Supreme Court… even our local Town Hall.
He is King over CNN, MSN, Fox News… even WRAL
He is the God of North Korea, China, The Middle East, and even Holly Springs.
His rule expands from Broadway, to Wall Street, Hollywood Blvd… even HWY 55.
He is Lord over the Bond market, the stock market, the real estate market…even the Holly Springs Farmers Market.
He is supreme over bank presidents, university presidents, CFOs, CEOs, COOs…. even UFOs
There is no area of this life, no authority of this world, no faction of power, that isn’t subject to HIS power, and the day is coming when every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord…even YOURS.
Why not make him the ROCK of your life today?
In a world where everyone is self promoting, building their email list, pumping up the volume on their own self limiting morality, establishing their brand, enlarging their platform, broadening their influence, and ultimately building their own kingdom…even with that happening all around us, we should be busy planting ourself in a kingdom that is not of this world. Establishing this life on the ROCK of ages, the CORNERSTONE, the BEDROCK of all the powers that be…JESUS.
Colossians 1:16 – for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see— such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together.
In other words, He made it all, He rules it all, and He actively sustains it all. And He himself said, “Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock. 26But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.” –Matthew 7:24-27
