How many times in life have you felt stuck, or unsure of your next move? Have you ever just wished that you knew the ‘right thing to do?
You might be faced with a decision on where to go to school, who to marry, or where to live, etc.
Truth is, sometimes it would be easier if someone would just tell us what to do in these situations.
The verse of the day is Psalm 119:105 “ Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”
When it comes to making decisions, the Bible is a lamp to guide our feet and a light for our path. It’s not like we are gonna turn into God’s word because we need quick answers or some specific answer to a specific question. That’s what google is for.
But God’s word is a LIGHT, meaning it illuminates which path to take. The key is to spend time in God’s word and get to know what God says BEFORE you are at a crossroads. God’s word will bring light and help you step by step as you navigate your life.
When we spend time reading the Bible and getting to know Jesus, decisions become clearer.
My encouragement is to spend some time in God’s word and let it guide you so the next time you’re faced with a tough decision, maybe you’ll be able to see the right path to take.
