If you are like me, I’m sure you’d rather go jogging, wash clothes, or even just scroll Facebook than have to do ANYTHING on your DAY OFF…ESPECIALLY if it involves feeding your kids and getting everyone dressed before 10am!! 🤣

My guess is the #1 reason you don’t go to church is NOT because you have something against God, or even against the church, it’s probably just a huge challenge to get out of the door so stinkin’ early on a Sunday morning. I mean, you already worked all week, and you’ve ran enough errands and participated in enough family activities already. Am I riiight?!! The struggle is real! 🙋‍♂️

Well, I’ve been working on something for a few years now that could be a huge benefit to your family. It’s called “Oasis”. And it could be a catalyst to help your family explore faith AND have more meaningful time together.

Of course, you could just keep doing what you’ve been doing…and if you are feeling 100% fulfilled in your relationship with God, then you keep doing you! No judgement here 🤷‍♀️

Most people just set God aside and do their own thing, only to look back with regret. I did this! Many of us grew up in church (had enough of it) and when we moved out of our parents house we left our faith in their house, too! But personally, now that I’m 35 and married with a 10 year old daughter and a baby boy on the way, 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦I’m realizing nothing is more important than ensuring my family has the opportunity to worship, explore faith and learn about God.

THE LAST THING I WANT is to be a guy in my 60s who never made the most important things in life a priority. We all know people who invested all their time and money into their careers, jobs, accumulating wealth and acquiring more stuff.

DONT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU.

Don’t be the person who works your ass off all your life just to provide nice things for your family, because at the end of your life, that’s all you will leave them with…Nice things. And we all know nice things aren’t ultimately fulfilling.😮

Bigger houses, bigger pay-raises, and vacations are all great, but when you eventually get to the end of your life, what kind of legacy are you leaving for your kids and family? I would think God, Family, and faith are pretty high on the list of importance!!

Don’t you want to live for something greater? Don’t you want to create family traditions and instill values that are centered around God, family, and faith?

This is why we started Oasis, so that average, ordinary people like myself and people like you can have an opportunity to worship God, and be a part of a community that will supplement and support the most important things in life.

Imagine what would happen if you followed that little hunch in your gut and re-engaged matters of faith, and God? How would the dynamics of your family change if you were centered around Jesus and connected to a community of faith again?

This is why we host this live, in person experience, every Sunday at Holly Springs High School, TWICE at 9:15a and 11:00am.

BUT…even if you were only able to commit to joining in from your couch at home, www.churchonyourcouch.com, I think you’ll be encouraged and find value in making this a part of your weekly routine.

SO…you can keep on going down the road you are on, which may be a great road for you. Or you can make a small change in your priorities and take a different road.

Regardless of what you do, I hope you choose a road of legacy, one that both makes a difference in your family and matters after you are gone, like literally for eternity…

AND I hope you’ll check out Oasis Church along the way!
